Jacksonville Attractions

The Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve has 46,000 acres of wilderness, exhibits, and historic sites. Don't miss the replica of Fort Caroline.

The "environmentally sensitive" Jacksonville Zoo presents the wild animals of Florida, including panthers. Also jaguars and a large collection of African wildlife.

The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens is on a former riverfront estate. 12 permanent galleries include the famous Wark Collection of porcelain. 2 acres of blooming gardens. Small but terrific.

There are over 50 golf courses in Jacksonville and the northeast Florida area. The World Golf Hall of Fame is here too.
